Andrew Lane's "Write Mad", a fantastic expression of anger and frustration, is for sale as I type.

Madame Zéro's "Toos", an explicit lesson in self-aggression, is for sale as I am typing.

TAC's "Community", a collection of images and words expressing the confusion of the thing of which we are a part, is for sale as I just typed.

Madame Zero's "Soot", a face plant, is there too.

Irregular Instrument's ability to create an interesting sound and allow a listener to revel in it for the duration of a song (with old-school poetry) will be available soon, and Lazy Lungs wants to give himself to you as well. Wait up! Also note Charles' releases are still being crafted for aesthetic purposes.

I am sorry to report that Blankets is no longer touring this summer. Andrew Lane and Madame Zero, however, will play wherever they can in the Pacific Northwest down bto Los Angeles, California until the end of July. They may be contacted for specifics and the show page will be updated as news of shows becomes solidified.

This post is a bit tardy and there is much to report, so please bear with me.

On May 23, the Tucson Art Collective held a show/art opening/zine release party to celebrate the first issue of the TAC Zine. Kelvin-Helmholtz and TAC have formed an alliance and the zine will be available in the store in the near future.

We are preparing our second compilation, In Robust We Trust, for a winter 2008 release.

Irregular Instrument will release May Is No Half-Way Home on July 1st. According to the artist, "it is an album combining loop rhythms from vocals and bass guitar along with other layers of lead guitar and all the lyrics are poems written by Nathan Paul Ziebell during his tenure at Prescott High School. It has 13 tracks and will be available for one dollar."

The prolific Madame Zero will release two albums in mid-July, Toos and Soot.

Also in mid-July Andrew Lane will release the highly anticipated Write Mad.

Charles Myers also has two forthcoming albums: Arpiter, for late-July; and Wind Gospel, a cassette-only item for early September.

Lazy Lungs has a full-length album in the works, plus numerous EPs of new and old songs. They are projected to appear in the fall or winter.

And please don't forget to check the shows page. Andrew Lane and Madame Zero have their "Tour to the Top", concluding in Seattle, where they will meet up with Charles for the Blankets "Return Tour." This is a hot opportunity for those in Arizona, California, Washington, and Oregon--so please don't pass it up.

We have some updates on album releases, as well as those in the womb. Officially released and now available are Blankets most recent album from 2005, Before the Snarl of the Snare, Irregular Instrument's Stood Terrific...Shook Terribly, as well Candylad's Junkmail Typewriter. Caleb Christopher's album Draw 50 Vehicles has been released, but unfortunately is not yet for sale on our website. Those albums, so fantastic in wait include Lazy Lung's You're an Oak, Madame Zero's Personal Nephology, and Andrew Lane's Write Mad. Momentarily, no artist is touring. However, this will likely change with the approaching summer. Please check uppity up for more updates regarding new upped albums and up-shows in the future.

Kelvin-Helmholtz has a few releases to announce.
Nathan and Caleb from the Swim will crank out two records before the end of the year: the 24 track full length Stood Terrific, Shook Terribly by Irregular Instrument, and

Junk Mail Typewriter by Candylad is all ready and set, and will be available for purchase soon.

Hello! This is the Kelvin-Helmholtz Records website page. As of now, we have four records for sale, but Andrew Lane and Charlie Myers are working on their latest records, and Say Valley Maker also has a release that needs to be pressed and finished before it can enter the store. Lazy Lungs has been talking about his next release for a while, so hopefully we'll see that soon. His bio page promises its release this month, so we'll see what happens. Irregular Instrument is also almost finished with his release, so by the end of the year we should have some more records for sale. Nobody's touring as is, so we are just playing shows in Tucson and surrounding cities when we can. If you would like any of us to play where you are, we can be contacted individually as our contact list shows. Any missing bios and contacts will be filled in over time. Also, it should be noted that many if not most of us have released our records unofficially on our own for a few years now and if anybody is interested, we can all be contacted about those. I'm sure if the cost of shipping is covered, we wouldn't mind sending them. Ask John about "This Will Be Our Year", Charlie about "Feasting on a Trapezoid", and Andrew about his incredible "Overthrowing Muse". They are all amazing. Thank you!
